Resubmit Chapter 3 & 4

Already submitted chapter 3 and 4 after done few corrections from the previous comments.

Comments:-

Chapter 3:
  • Don't have to explain each of the methodology studied. Only give the comparison between methodologies and brief more about the one that chosen to be used for the portal development.
  • Then, explain each of the phases in the methodology chosen. Few other contents in chapter 3 need to be removed as it needs to be done during PSM 2.
  • Rewrite needed.
Chapter 4:
  • Rewrite needed since some of the headings are incorrect. No more further checking by miss as I need to resubmit it again with the proper format.

Research about current existing portals

After gone through several current existing educational portals which is particularly for teachers, I picked up 3 portals that can be used as my literature review to develop my portal, CikguTube.

1. TeacherTube (www.teachertube.com)
2. SchoolTube (www.schooltube.com)
3. TuitionTube (www.tuitiontube.com)

Done some writing about those portals, and went to see Miss Hazinah. Commented, need to provide it in a report writing format. Get a screen shots for each of the current existing portals and brief about it. Need to search more and get more understanding to get the ideas to develop my own CikguTube. Then, do some comparison between those portals about the features in it. From that only I know what kind of features need to be included in my CikguTube while in the stage of designing.

P.S: Must start to do the chapter 1 and chapter 2.

Project Topics Proposal

Draft Project Proposal
Contents of Proposal:-
> Introduction
> Problem Background
> Project Aim
> Objectives
> Scope

Discussion:-
> I need to submit the topic proposed by 23rd July 2010. I have decided to develop an online resource sharing portal which is called "CikguTube". So, I went to see Ms Hazinah on the 22nd July 2010 to have a check on my proposal form which consist of the problem background, project aim, objectives and scope.
> I had gone through some of the existing portal which is similar to the one that I proposed such as "TeacherTube", "SchoolTube", "TuitionTube" and few others. But those are not limited for teachers in any particular country to use it. Then, Ms Hazinah said maybe I can do it for the teachers in Malaysia only and I agree with it. I might be focusing only teachers in primary and secondary schools.
> Details are as written below.

Problem Background:-
- Basically, the existing system such as TeacherTube, TuitionTube, SchoolTube and many
others educational resource sharing website are for the teachers all around the world.
But this "CikguTube" will be particularly used by teachers in Malaysia and will be available
in two versions such as Malay and English versions. However, those sites contain a mixture
category of subjects which is not particularly taught at school in Malaysia. So, the
"CikguTube" will follow the Malaysia's school syllabus.

Project Aim:-
- To develop an online resource sharing portal that could help in resources exchange between
teachers.

Objectives:-
- To study currently available online resource sharing portal.
- To design and develop the "CikguTube".
- To test the developed portal for error and usability.

Scope:-
- Primary and secondary schools in Malaysia.

Lastly, Ms Hazinah said that I need to study currently available portal and make a comparison
of the features as the literature review to develop the "CikguTube".
