PSM 2 - 1st Final Draft Submission

Submitted 3 copies of final draft report on 30th December 2011 by 4.30 pm at the security lab.

PSM 2 - Official Demo 2

Already demo to my supervisor on my portal and told her some of the problems that I had currently.

Comments and suggestion from Miss Hazinah:-

• Currently still have some problems on my forums but will try to fix it.
• Validation while admin deleting user need to be set.
• Try to find any free hosting server to upload the portal for final presentation.
  
• Need to find real user which is teacher in secondary or primary school to test the portal and get some feedbacks or suggestion from them.
• Prepare a set of questionaire before go for user testing.

PSM 2 - Draft Report to Supervisor

Already submitted my draft report to Miss Hazinah and been informed that tomorrow which is Friday will be our official demo 2.

Demo 2 details:

• Date : 16/12/2011 (Friday)
• Time: 10.00 am

Also discussed about what have been told to us during PSM 2 meeting with the coordinator yesterday (15/12/2011). We've been briefed on the report submission to the evaluators and supervisors.

PSM 2 - Official Progress 2

I already sent an email to Dr Anazida when she plan to do meeting for official progress 2. But no reply yet, as I assume she is kind of busy especially she is handling PHD students.

PSM 2 - Playing Video

I went to see Mr Hafiz to ask him how to get the url that saved in the database.

- He asked me to code at the back of the plugin itself. He briefly explained how to call the video path in the database.

- Already did as what Mr hafiz said, but still failed to play it on the page. Only the player appear on the page, but video doesn't play.

- And also asked him on how to build a forum. He showed me one of his student's project.

- Already got the idea on how to create the forum.

PSM 2 - Video & Audio

I went to see Dr Anazida again to get some advise on my problem of playing video and audio on web page.

- Currently resources such as video, audio and documents successfully uploaded to server.

- But having problem to play video and audio on page because for the moment only managed to play on the outside player.

- She advised me to look for Mr Hafiz, maybe he could help me to solve the problem.

PSM 2 - Official Demo 1

I waited and setup everything for the demo at the PSM Lab. Demo to Dr Anazida on my portal progress.

- Login Module -
i) Registration user
ii) Login session - user menu

- Upload resources

• Successfully uploaded resources. But still working on downloading resources.
• Already created menu for user to access resources.

- Dr Anazida did comment on my upload and profile edit form which are:

• Make user can choose the subject category, means put it in dropdownlist
• For profile edit, make a dropdownlist for gender, location and marital status.

PSM 2 - Official Progress 1

I went to see Dr Anazida who is my former supervisor during Miss Hazinah was on leave.

- Need to confirm with her about my first official demo. She did informed me that she received a message from Miss Hazinah to check on our first official demo.

- She fixed the time for meeting on first official demo:

PSM 2 - Forum

I went to see Miss Hazinah before she on leave. I need to ask her about forum which is one of the module in my portal.

- She briefly explained to me how does forum works.
- I informed her now I'm still working on my upload and download for the resources.
- She remind me to put everything discussed in the blog.

PSM 2 - Registration User

I went to see Miss Hazinah and been informed that her leave will be starting from 19.10.2011..
For the meantime, all PSM students that under her supervise, will be assigned under Dr Anazida as the former supervisor while she is on leave.

- Currently my masterpage considered done. Now working on my registration and login module.
- Having a problem on how to differentiate between registered user and admin during login session.
- Try to solve it by refering back to system developed during taking application development subject.
- Finally, problem solved.

PSM 2 - Progress Demo

Receive message from Miss Hazinah about 1st demo on our system development.

- Already demo my first progress on my system. Some error founds during demo time.
- Comments:
- Miss asked me to make a timetable on my psm planning. I need to plan on how to prioritize development modules that need to be done.
- Some features need to be added in to make my system more user friendly.
- I also asked her about chapters for thesis that need to be done throughout the system development.
- Miss did briefly explained about all the chapters for reporting.

PSM 2 Progress

• Done with the master page and started working on home page and others.

• Already created connection to database and successfully connected.

• In the middle of creating database for user login, video, audio, photo and document.

• Need to discuss few things back with Miss Hazinah such as about progress report and some flows that confused me.

PSM 2

I already started my PSM 2. Here are some progress of my PSM2:

• Masterpage is considered done. But the login part still pending due to database not ready yet.

• Now working on the pages and forms.
• Went to see spervisor, and Miss Hazinah asked to email her my timetable for this semester so that easy for her to set the meeting day.
• Already email to her the timetable this afternoon.
